Rocky Zapata is the Founder and CEO of The Rocky Group, bringing over 27 years of combined industry experience across investment strategy, operational efficiency, and project development. His work is centered on identifying high-potential opportunities in renewable energy and emerging startups, helping transform ideas into scalable, impactful ventures.
Based in Broward County, Florida, Rocky also brings over 15 years of deal-making experience, having successfully led and advised on business transactions across a wide range of industries. His deep understanding of the business sales process, combined with a proven track record of navigating complex deals, positions him as a trusted leader in both investment and operational strategy.
Rocky is actively involved in the professional community, contributing to organizations such as the Associated General Contractors and the American Society of Safety Professionals. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University, a Master of Arts, and maintains industry-recognized certifications including the Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) and the Health Care Construction Certificate (HCC).

Alejandro Urbina serves as Vice President of The Rocky Group’s Central America Division, bringing over 25 years of executive leadership and hands-on business experience. Based in Granada, Nicaragua, Alejandro plays a critical role in overseeing regional operations and advancing the company’s mission across Central America.
With a strong foundation in the Toyota Production System (TPS), Alejandro has built his career on efficiency, continuous improvement, and team development. He has successfully recruited, trained, and led high-performing sales teams, driving operational excellence and sustainable growth across multiple business environments.
Alejandro’s leadership is grounded in discipline, strategy, and a deep understanding of market dynamics in the region. His ability to align people, processes, and performance makes him an essential force behind The Rocky Group’s expansion and execution in Central America.
Outside of his professional work, Alejandro is a devoted family man. He is married to his wife Georgina, and together they are proud parents of three daughters.
